1. Can I swim with my extensions in?
Although not ideal for any hair type , you can swim with your extensions in. Apply a leave-in conditioner to act as a protective layer. And don’t forget your comb to work out any potential tangles.
2. You sell Indian hair, but what about Brazilian hair?
Beware of false advertising! Terms such as Brazilian and Peruvian are incorrectly used and are not indicative of quality hair. If you buy hair advertised as Brazilian, you may be buying synthetic hair instead of human hair.
3. What’s the difference between Virgin hair and Remy hair?
Virgin Hair is unprocessed human hair. It’s never been bleached, permed, dyed, processed, or chemically altered.Remy hair is human hair with the cuticles intact and laying in the same direction sometimes referred to as unidirectional. Remy hair may be processed, but is never stripped of the cuticle. Having the cuticle intact is crucial for your extensions to appear as natural as possible.Hair can be Virgin and Remy, one and not the other, or neither. All of our hair is Remy. Additionally, all of our hair, other than that in our Colours collection, is Virgin.
4. How long will my hair extensions last?
This depends on you! If you give extensions and weave the proper care and maintenance required, Virgin hair can last up to a year! Treat your extensions and weave just like you would your natural hair. Shampoo, condition, and use styling products and detanglers to remove the tangles. The better you care for you hair, the longer it will last.
5. Can I bleach and Colour my extensions?
The simple answer is, yes. You can perm, style, and colour your extensions, if that is your desire. We recommend you go to a salon and see a professional hair stylist or hair colourist with experience styling extensions and weaves. Be careful about bleaching your extensions. That process is very harsh and the chemicals may harm your hair.
6. Will people know I’m wearing hair extensions?
Not unless you tell them! Our hair is the highest quality and is meant to blend in seamlessly with your hair.
7. Will hair extensions damage my hair?
Extensions should not damage your hair if properly installed and maintained. Whether you wear sew-ins or clip-ins, be careful while brushing and be careful with tangles. If you have a tangle, hold the hair while you brush it. If you are going to put your hair up, use a clip or an elastic hair tie that will not damage your hair. Also, if your weave is sew-in, make sure you’re having it sewn by a knowledgeable hair professional.
8. Should I wash my extensions?
Absolutely… it’s hair! Look for shampoos and conditioners either specifically formulated for extensions or for dry hair, as they will add moisture. We do not recommend using a hair dryer on your extensions, as it may dry out your hair. Air-drying is perfectly fine.
